You need to ask more precise questions... we're not a free helpdesk for people who don't know where to start.
Do you want to build it from scratch?
Maybe you should just order a kit online... then you can learn all the different parts. Then you can build your own design later.

Project design. It is the begin.
The problem is not in the remote control. It is available in market. Just get the output signal in the receiver and control with it motors of the chopper.
Plane's design is madness.
Don't forget..... it will fall.......
Solve this problem first. You can do it.

When you don't know the complete model, just stick to what you are confident of.

Shelli .... it is great.
You can also, go ahead, electro-mechanically. Try a body tightened by 3 axial springs and 3 angular ones. And get the signal from potentiometers and analyze them on the PC and graph by MATLAB. It is challenging Can you do it?
