Nanotech and medical physics Rate Topic: -----

I'm not sure which forum to put this in so figured this would be the safest. My boyfriend and I are both Irish and my boyfriend will be doing 7 months work experience in nanotechnology in Feb and has a possibility of going to the USA for it. He has said he is unsure if he'll take it as 7 months is a long time to be that far away.

First question is he's unsure if its the university of Texas or Houston. I googled both and no hints as to which one it would be?

Also at the same time I will be doing 7 months work experience in medical physics. I'd like to find out if there's any hospitals near the university he will most likely be at that I could apply for work experience at. It would most likely have to be a teaching hospital and be willing to take a 3rd year physics with medical physics student from Ireland. If anyone can help me with some information on any of this I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Well, the first thing to do is find out where he's going. If he doesn't know where he's going it probably isn't a good idea to go (how would he get there?). He needs to ask whoever is planning his trip where he's going.
Our voting system is broken! It nearly guarantees that we will have only two political parties that have any chance of winning, and that they will be very similar.

Well he was told its in Houston he's just not sure which university is there. Since its not until Feb he hasnt been given the details yet so this is all I have to work with.

Well, both are in Houston. That's probably close enough for you if you find a place for yourself in Houston, right?
