Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, but am interested to know how many people are involved in programmes to inspire young people into science? I coordinate the STEM Ambassadors programme (more information at: STEM Ambassadors information ) in Northumberland, and we're always on the lookout for new people to help us to spread the message of careers in science. I know a lot of university's have their own 'outreach' programme that many researchers are involved with, but this is a national scheme that incorporates industrial based scientists, researchers and basically anyone interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects who could be a good role model.
