Half genuine curiosity and half WTF?!ness, does anyone know if there is any physiological effect to rubbing Vicks VapoRub into the testicles/scrotum?
For instance, does it have any effect of sperm and general semen fluid production, either by decreasing or increasing the rate of production?
Anyone have any other thoughts/feelings or insight into the idea, either from a physiological or even a purely sexual point of view?

Menthol and eucaliptus (both aromatics) will have no significant pathological effect in the dosage present in Vicks.
there will be Phsiological effects however, both are skin irritants and can pass into the bloodstream quite easily, you`ll notice the menthol tastes in your mouth within about 15 mins, the same as if you applied this to the soles of your feet.
it would be a different case is you used Menthol crystals in DMSO however!

Yah this definetly has a WTF?ness to it...
Would you post your source of this idea? lol...
I think the only thing this would do is have you running around house yelling "OH BLOODY HELL!" lol.
Unless you are into that kind of thing, it probably wont have any effect on you psychologically, or sexually.

Speaking for myself of course, I find extreme discomfort a downer. If you find this enjoyable or even bearable, you may have a good career with the makers of JackAss. :-)

I've actually done this before when I had sunburn in that...um, area(please don't ask). It maybe more tickled than anything, I think the sunburn was the most painful of it. There was no sexual pleasure in it, just embarrassment of getting sunburn there in the first place. No side effects yet as far as I can tell.

I read a story about some girl using mint toothpaste on a blowjob because she didn't like the taste. He, he. The testicles are probably far less sensitive since they have skin.

This is all well and good, but how does one make the "mentholyptic" reaction stop when it gets to be too much?
If she puts ice cubes in her mouth it works better, and is safer...

In the interest of science you should try it out and report back. You should probably test your results against another product as well, maybe something like Bengay >:D

My fiance rubbed some vapo rub on my scrotum. she thought it would be funny. At first it began to tingle then it began burning. Next there was a very strange sensation of burning and being cold at the same time. I then rubbed some in her ass crack. She reported the exact same symptoms but claimed they were more severe. She tried to relieve the effects by lying on her back with her legs in the air, parting her buttocks to increase the airflow around the now painful anus area. In the final analysis we suffered for 5 - 6 mins but it soon subsided. We have repeated this experiment over 3 times and the finings are consistent.
