Out of curiosity, why not use dedicated mining HW (ASIC) and why to balance CPU with GPU (I do not think it matter for mining)?

Okay Now, I have a idea of how to make this 20 Teraflops by bridging the two computers together which is what that data chart is for which the max exchange between the two is 1.1 GB/s

Which acts like a i9 12 core 24 thread 2.9 GHz with a  Tesla 40K  or Tesla 80K somewhere in-between those two.

Ari just posted its BIOS stable 4.2 GHz@ 27C with that processor but do not get that watercooler with that case, I had to cut the literal front off the computer with a  fine toothed hacksaw then reattach it with superglue to mount it, that cooler is not 280mm, and actually measures 312mm, but everything else works no problems together, 5.3 GHz and 33 C.

Neat. Personally, I'd skip Blu-ray mechanic since it will probably not get much use but add SSD, even smaller capacity one, for OS. Though I admit I am boot speed freak. Where is the power supply? I read its worth to get a decent one. Not necessarily overpowered one but a reliable one. The Seagate NAS is bad ass.

Oh, I forgot to show the power supply for it, It is the same 750 Watt one as the last version, it is included in that price.

I am currently Stress testing the previous one versus the New one in a contest of protein folding the 550 ti vs 1080 ti along with i5 2600k @ 3.7 GHz vs  i7 7770k @ 4.7 GHz

currently there protein folding score is way different on the graphics card front the 1080 ti is @ 108000 GPU points a day while the 550 ti @ 7000 GPU points a day.

While the processors are less different i5 @ 800 CPU points a day while the i7 @ 3800 CPU points per day.

New 70C versus Old 90C maxed.

both 750 watts.

So, it is between 4.75 and 15.4 times faster, about 6 teraflops total versus 34 teraflops total, together 40 teraflops total, with a teraflop value of 5.75 times faster.

That GPU puts out alot of heat, which the CPU's do Indeed together act like a Intel Core i9-7920X Skylake X 12-Core 2.9 GHz , which that 1080 Ti + 550 ti does act about like two Kelper linked Teslas 40K's or a Tesla 80K system.

Which I figure during the winter this is safer then a 1500 watt space heater for the backroom.1500 watt Space heater

Yeah, I am going to be using mine for protein folding and Bitcoin mining strictly for the next couple of years.

Just wait till the bubble bursts. There will be people jumping off buildings, you’ll see. When you look at the whole crypto market from a global point of view, its like a giant power consumption contraption which manufactures nothing. But then again so does the majority of global IT - weird times. Sory for the offtopic.

Oh, I agree, but money is just paper and people kill each-other for it and waste much resources to acquire it. It shows how stupid people really are. If handed a Ruby then next to it the exact value in money then made the person choose between the ruby and the money value of it, the person would always take the money value instead of the Ruby, then I would laugh silly monkey paper and not a physical asset.
