language barriers

Recommended Posts

I was having problems figuring out the right language to describe the details of my theory that unites all the forces, and needed to know acceptable language to describe my theory. I did this by posting the rough draft here, and learning language through the comments. The theory doesn't need mathematical equasions to prove it. IT'S A THEORY. My theory predicts magnetic feilds around black holes, and why energy is quantized. I am not interested in condemnation of the theory by egotistical college educated people who are blinded by their own education while waving their degrees, or do I have the patience for them. I have posted a finished version for anyone who is interested on a Wix website. It is called "mantraphilter" four forces united. If this post is considered spam I guess I'll get kicked off and deleted. Oh well!

Theories are almost all mathematical models of some sort. In science "just a theory" does not make sense. Theories are the best, most finely detailed explanations of how things work. They are not guesses or conjectures or ideas that someone had.

The correct language to express a theory in is math. If you do not wish to express it in mathematical terms, then it is not really a theory. It is an idea that you have. That is something else entirely.

That's a little confining, Delta.

faraday did quite a bit to advance electromagnetic theory.

He used hardly any math, but rather 'lines of force' in his models.

But you're right, any complex model, such as a four force unification would need a mathematical model.

Not a simple wire frame and styrofoam model.

As someone who does not have a degree to wave, I am sick of hearing from people who are too lazy to actually learn anything and think that their fairy tales should be given as much credence as scientific models based on evidence.

So I guess we are even then.

That would require you to actually learn something about the subject. But that would require too much hard work, I guess.

If displaced space theory is correct it means all the measurements of distance as starlight moves through space are WRONG. Displaced space theory means as starlight travels through various gravitational fields it gets compressed and reamplified due to various fields of displaced space it has to travel through to reach your eye or whatever telascope you are looking at it with. Even a measurement is relative to the space you took the measurement in. So when anyone claims mathematical equasions can describe the universe we live in, they might as well be running around with there thumb stuck up there ass and drooling.

this is the link to the, I hope completed theory,

I've read the text in the link. Ignoring the impression the first diagram gives, that it is a design for a bra, all you have is a few paragraphs, some of which start "I believe that...". It does not even begin to address anything specific. I tell you what - explain just one observed physical phenomenon, such as, say, the perihelion shift in Mercury's orbit, and I'll read it again.

If displaced space theory is correct it means all the measurements of distance as starlight moves through space are WRONG.

But the distances aren't wrong. We've sent probes throughout thr solar system, and did it with the distances that we got from the current accepted physics. And the probes got to where they were supposed to go. The science works. The distances are correct.

Well, they match the predictions of the model. Which is why the model is accepted.

As you have no model, and therefore no predictions, your idea cannot be tested and will, therefore, never be accepted. That is the trouble with choosing to remain ignorant, you condemn yourself to be ignored.

Your theory, should be backed by mathematical evidence. Period.

If it isn't, it's a hypothesis, not a theory.

And a hypothesis is based off of observations, and since I doubt you observed black holes much, I'll take your theory with a grain of salt.

And don't worry, I don't have any degrees of any kind. Not even a high school diploma

OP - post your theory here or do not bother with a thread. We do not allow threads which consist of 'I have a theory and you can read it at this link..." .

Links should be supportive of your claims (ie to journals or wiki etc) AND not required reading for members wishing to take part in the discussion

I think I see the problem, Everyone is so impressed with Einstein and his E=MC2 theory that they believe math is the answer to explain the universe. So everyone studies math and comes up with these crazy formulas because they want to be Einstein. If you can,t support a theory with math, its not a theory, show the math formula. You are all a bunch of Einstein wannabees - sheep. Displaced space explains how gravity works at the quantum level and unites all the forces, like it or not.

It predicts magnetic fields around black holes. It explains how four neutrons could be held in a nucleus. It explains why light does not escape a black hole. It explains why energy is quantized. It explains the confusion of an electron as a wave or a particle. It explains why gravity at the planetary level appears so much weaker than the strong nuclear force. and it does not violate any of your precious mathematical formulas. So you can either jump on board to a greater understanding, or continue to hide behind your PHD's, doctorate degrees, and mathematical formulas in ignorance. Your choice.

If you want to see the completed theory - find it yourself.

That's not how this works. If you want to discuss your ideas, you present them here. Starting out hostile towards those with the education and ability to engage with you will not help your cause. Thread closed. You're welcome to open another in the Speculations section if you wish to actually have a conversation.
