I myself donno what this slow strategy is...didnt get anything on net as well...I just saw this question but cudnt solve so posted it here because I really want to know each and everything about viruses

Listen carefully.I am a final year microbiology honours student. Research is the field I am looking for as my future.Whenever I complete studying a topic of my course I start searching questions on that topic and try to answer it to know how much I have learnt. The questions which I cant do I post it on the forum so that u people can help me out. So its not a homework. If anyone wants to answer please do and if not then dont accuse me of something which I am not doing.I dont need to ask homework on forum. I know those are given to be done by the students without asking others wndthere are teachers to correct your mistake and help you with homeworks. But for extra knowledge and help we have forums so if this forum doesnt believe in spreading knowledge tell me clearly so that I dont waste my time and yours too.And coming to the point that I dont like some answers and always ask for exact precise compact answer because my knowledge at this stage is not enough to understand hi fi things which is not in my course so I dont get satisfied with some of the answers.Thats all.

Sorry for the mistake. It is npy slow relative but slow release strategy.According to my knowledge the lysogenic phage becomes immune to the superinfection which doesnt take place in case of slow release strategy so this is one of the disadvantage of slow release strategy but can you tell me what actually this slow release strategy means. Is slow strategy is synonymous to the lytic cycle or it is some thing else

not again. Its not a homework . I am not an ideal student who does homework by eating people's brain on forum.Dont ask it again .I am pissed off now.

how many times i will say its not a homework.the way I ask may seem a homework to you but its not.Its for my knowledge .Its something I want to know which will help me increase my knowledge and provide knowledge to others who are not aware of the fact.

People can you please tell me why does influenza virus have to provide its polymerase readymade ,whereas polio virus does not?

    virus

what are the relative advantages and disadvantages to a virus of the slow relative strategy compared with the strategy of a temperate phage which alternates between lysis and lysogeny? People plz help me with this question.

    chargaffs rule

Does chargaff rule apply for single stranded DNA ? If the G% of a bacteriophage (storing its genetic information in ss DNA) is known how can we determine the % T?

    cot curve

Cot curves have always been a complicated topic for me to understand .Can anyone describe me how can we analyze nucleotide sequence composition using a cot curve.
  10. thanks thanks for th help
  11. thank you v much .But after a lot of research i Got the following answer; nucleoid : 1.Nucleoids are found in prokaryotes. 2.it is an irregularly shaped region within the cell and contains aal or most of the genetic material. 3.it is composed of nucleoid protein which helps to maintain the supercoiled structure of nucleic acid. 4.It contains small amount of RNA. nucleosome: 1.it is found in eukaryotes. 2.nucleosomes are the basic unit of DNA packaging in eukaryotes, consisting of a segment of DNA wound around a histone core. 3.it is composed of histone proteins which acts as a spool around which DNA winds and thus enabling the compaction necessary to fit large genomesof eukaryotes inside nuclei. 4.it doesnt contain RNA.(having doubt in this:( ) this i made after studying about nucleosomes and nucleoid ...........Please check it ands do the corrections.

    DNA sequencing

Dont confuse me with high fi things....Be precise and give to the point answer.
  13. yes I have tried everything .I take forum as my last option. The following is all I get as the difference.Help me to know more differences. Nucleosomes are the basic unit of DNA packaging in eukaryotes, consisting of a segment of DNA wound around a histone protein core while nucleoid (meaning nucleus-like) is an irregularly-shaped region within the cell of a prokaryote that contains all or most of the genetic material.[
