That's just what comes with specialisation. You lose breadth for depth.

  5. Does anyone use the search engine Opera? Any pros or cans or tips to make it better. I generally use google but I am looking around to see what is available.

  6. Has google merged with yahoo? I woke up this morning to a google page with yahoo in the search space but with google still listed as my search engine and missing some of my long term apps list.

Did you download an app and miss the 'offer' to install Yahoo?

Could that be down to an overarching  timeout editing control.  I think it's currently about  30minutes

  9. Once I was enrolled in a master’s class in Adult Education. However one professor failed my curriculum outline. I retook the class and got a B. However, it became too expensive.

So I took my curriculum and taught it here on SFN. I thought, “if I could inspire adults to factor SemiPrimes I would create the ultimate cryptographers.”

So with over 11,000 views, what did you think of the class?

Most of those views are likely search engine crawlers. I've got 88000 profile views, which is about 20 a day. I  very much doubt my profile is being viewed by people 20 times a day.

  11. Compare and contrast.I first downvoted and then ,very soon removed the downvote of  your reply to me because I saw that you had ,at a later  stage added to your crpytic response with a second part  that ,at least made some sense.

Meanwhile  someone had upvoted my Delphic Oracle reply to your cryptic response and so you have seen fit to downvote it .

    Petty or what?

  18. Hey mate,

Have you tried using bone conducting headphones?

When you are out on your bike, you can hear the music and listen out for traffic as well.

I bought a set, but the volume is not great. However, they work.

      Cheers Jimmy, I'll have a gander. :)

  19. Finally graduated magna cum laude as an MD.

Although I have received the wonderful opportunity to specialise in neurosurgery, being a neurosurgery resident is just a dog's life I could not lead for the lengthy duration it has. Because of lots of reasons, I've decided to carry on as an aspiring future anaesthesiologist.

Sometimes you have to walk right up to the mountain to so see how tall it is in terms of how much of your life you have to give to it

  21. Hi guys, I am in sunny California where oranges grow on trees in people's yards and evidently it never really rains! I flew out here to see my son and grandchild and help them get their house upacked and set up.

My dad died days before I arrived andIfound out I had inherited al of his properties... Sort of... But he didn't leave a will so everything is in "probate" and all his properties will be sold to settle his debts and I have to make sure this gets done.

I named my son executor of his estate, my son volunteered btw.

I feel like I went on vacation only to find the sword of damacles floating over my head.

    Fun fun in sunny CA!

  22. Can anyone identify if these factors are close?

i realize that the numbers are huge. I am facing the same problems as you trying to see if this works.

The goal is not to destroy RSA and those ciphers that rely on factoring. That would cripple SSL certificates. We probably don’t have any encryption the NSA can’t break.

Instead finding patterns in factorization finds new patterns and series.

I would like to find patterns in biological organisms, but I no little of genetics or cell biology.

There are mathematicians and physicists looking for patterns in diseases. I am neither of theses, but finding pattern is the most basic math. If if you don’t understand the theories or notation you can still visualize the series. I am not saying it is easy to add to the field, put anyone can understand patterns.

That is how I feel. Let’s find patterns in factoring.

If that was the case they wouldn't be pissed off with Apple.
