  1. So i had to write an essay on relativity and something's really bothering me: Why do I find every source saying "the moving clock ticks slower"? My issue is that i find it hard to believe that if time is dilated to it, then it should be moving it's mechanism slower. I think even though time is being dilated, it ticks just as fast as the stationary clock, when compared afterwards they show different times because the moving clock ticked for less time than the stationary clock and thus seems as if it ticked slower. Please someone tell me which one's right and why.
  2. wow thanks for all the help, and yes, that is exactly what i was thinking: recording consciousness. Although it is technology beyond ours, I don´t think we are far away form it. I guess I´ve got something to work on during my spare time. ABout the "tip of the tongue" experience, I try to make a reconstruction of everything during the time the idea I´m looking for was thought but with my random ramblings all day, it´s a little bit tough,, which is why I thought about this.
  3. So this crazy idea just popped in my mind. What if we could record anything that we think of in the moment we think about it. For example you come up with an idea for a song and this draft of a song is recorded for you in some storage unit. I'd like to know how possible could this be.
