Well, this is a science forum, why not use the opportunity to educate yourself about this here ? That way you might understand what is going on, instead of making highly embarrassing claims ? They have, of course. Its just that your knowledge is lacking ! So after 1000s of years you are claiming a heat source is still active inside the Great Pyramid ? And I suggest you keep it there ! and away from valid Egyptological studies .... or write a novel about it .

No, that's not it, at least for a certain group of people. The knowledge deficit model has been shown to be wrong. The science is rejected because an ideology is in place that can't be supplanted by facts.

You won't if you ignore my suggestion to read through the thread again. As I suspected you haven't really been paying attention to what people are posting and instead seem to be looking for a battle. I've already stated what it means to me in the third post of this thread, although others here have caused me to think more deeply about it.

Inner peace is quite likely one of those concepts that must be discovered within oneself as opposed to being taught by some other, even though others can often help to better illuminate the path and offer suggestions on avoiding common obstacles.

I conflate "speak" with inform, and when my president speaks, I raise the bar quite a bit. He represents the most accurate information about my country I'm supposed to have, compiled from the heads of the executive departments. I stopped counting the number of times his tweets failed fact-checking, which means it was willful misinformation, considering he must have folks who can look this stuff up like I did. I think this is a horrible way to be spoken to by the POTUS. But he reaches for the lie first when he speaks directly, so I'm not sure the medium makes much difference.

C'mon, they are deniers because they're ignorant.. See their age- they are 70-80+ years old grandpas. They don't understand anything from the modern world. Times when the wisest and the most knowledgeable people in the village are grandpas and grandmas, are long time gone. Regardless, climate change is human-made, or it's f.e. natural increase of power of the Sun (when it'll be turning to red giant and burning Helium-4 more extensively), it's in the best human interest to "do something", and f.e. prevent higher radiation of the Sun by placing mirrors in the cosmic space between the Sun and Earth, to decrease radiation.. and being able to remotely control it when needed.. Without such devices this planet will vaporize and sterilize from living organisms much more quicker.. I would split deniers to "denying human-made climate change but accepting climate change" and "denying any climate change".
