If i wanted to try an experiment to see if a fan blowing so much air at a certain speed (all constants) over a board/piece of sheet metal/and other materials would effect the flow of water/oils/and other liquids. Would they are get pushed farther away with the air from the fan or would some of the chemicals have more of a connection to the metal or wood and hold their space and continue to flow down more then across?

The board would be tilted so the side i am pouring onto would be about 12inches from the floor, about a 24inch long board and the other end would be resting on the floor.

I am trying to picture your model. Does the fan blow horizontaly across the board or is it blowing down from the top, north to south? Does the fan have a rheostat control to increase and decrease its power?

sorry, yes horizontal... and yes it has a controll for the speed.

lemem see if i can make a quick diagram.

` thats sorta how the board will slant.. but more to the dimensions i stated above, i think that might help you understand what i'm trying to do better.
